Leavers Assembly 2015

It’s always sad to say goodbye to our leavers, but there is a satisfaction in seeing them start a new period of their life. All of our Year 11s have worked hard to gain qualifications to allow them to follow their chosen pathways into college. We will miss them around the school and wish them every success in their future.
— Robin Lee

An assembly has been held to say goodbye to the Year 11 boys and to celebrate their time at Wilds Lodge. Many will be attending college courses back at home, however, some will be staying with us and moving on to our Post 16 provision at Rock Lodge.

With words from Robin Lee, Emma Mills, the class teachers and even Jordan (our first student at Wilds Lodge), there was a lot of heart felt moments. The Year 11 boys will be missed!

It was not only the boys we said goodbye to today, but also a couple of members of staff. Richard Chisholm, a key member of the care team, who has been with the school since it began, has decided to move to pastures new. Another member of staff, Andy Balmford, who has played a vital role within the school's pastoral department, is also leaving.
