Safeguarding
Wilds Lodge is proud to hold the ‘Leaders in Safeguarding’ Quality Mark and is one of very few schools to have achieved this accreditation and renewal.
Our school is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all learners, staff, and visitors. We recognise the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in our care and are dedicated to implementing policies and practices that protect them from harm. Our safeguarding measures include rigorous background checks for all staff and regular training on child protection issues. We believe that every child has the right to learn in a secure and supportive setting, and we actively work to identify and respond to any concerns of abuse or neglect. Our designated safeguarding lead is always available to discuss any safeguarding concerns, ensuring that our school remains a place where students can flourish both academically and personally, free from fear or harm.
All are available in person at school, on 01780 767254, by post and contactable by email: safeguarding@wildslodgeschool.co.uk
Visitors are asked to speak to a member of the safeguarding team if they have any concerns or worries about the safety of learners or staff in school.
“Pupils say that when bullying happens, the school deals with it effectively. The school’s approach to positive behaviour is bringing about a reduction in suspensions and physical interventions.”
